This McKesson Square Non-Sterile Adhesive Nonwoven Gauze Dressing can be used as either a primary or secondary dressing and is made of 3 layers, including a low-adherent layer that protects the wound surface, an absorbent gauze layer that absorbs exudate and a Nonwoven adhesive tape border that holds the dressing securely in place. Indicated for light to moderate amounts of exudate and can act as either a primary or secondary dressing. – Adhesive backing is made to prevent external contamination. Non-adherent contact layer helps prevent skin maceration and provides high absorption. Adhesive border serves as an ideal alternative to gauze and tape. Creates a barrier against external contamination. Conforms easily to body contours, even in hard-to-dress areas.
